Tainah Dadda
Diretora de teatro. Desde 2009, vem construindo sua trajetória como diretora artística de projetos performáticos no campo do teatro, em colaboração com artistas multidisciplinares, aprofundando seu envolvimento com formatos híbridos.
Entre 2015 e 2018, também atuou como produtora executiva em projetos nas áreas de artes visuais, música e práticas transdisciplinares.
Paralelamente ao seu trabalho artístico, dedica-se a iniciativas educativas em teatro, facilitando ações formativas para públicos diversos.
Vive e trabalha entre o Brasil e Portugal. Em Portugal, colabora com programas educativos de instituições arte-sociais e é cofundadora do Peixe Fora d’Água, coletivo interdisciplinar voltado para a pesquisa e criação entre linguagens artísticas.
É vencedora do Prêmio Novos Diretores do Goethe-Institut Porto Alegre pela encenação de Mr. Kolpert (2012); do prêmio de Melhor Direção em Vídeo Performance no Festival Nacional de Teatro de Congonhas (2021); e de Melhor Direção de Teatro Adulto no 11º Prêmio Olhares da Cena (2022), ambos por Manual para Náufragos.
Thais Fernandes
THAIS FERNANDES (1984) é formada em jornalismo. Desde 2007, trabalha como montadora/diretora de projetos audiovisuais para televisão e cinema. Também atua na área de educação como instrutora de cursos livres de introdução ao cinema e projetos de documentário. Focada em narrativas documentais, dirigiu os curtas-metragens "Contrato de Amor" (41º Festival de Cinema de Gramado), "Navegantes" (Curta Cinema 2015) e "Um Corpo Feminino" (BFI 2018). Foi responsável pela produção executiva, pesquisa e edição de vídeo do webdocumentário "A Cidade Inventada" (60º DOKLEIPZIG).
Em 2020, lançou "AFINAL, QUEM É DEUS?" (Prix Jeunesse International 2020), sua primeira série de TV, além de seu primeiro longa-metragem, "PORTUÑOL", que venceu o prêmio de Melhor Longa-Metragem no 48º Festival de Cinema de Gramado. Desde 2024, é egressa da 11ª turma do DOCNOMADS, programa de mestrado Erasmus Mundus focado em direção de documentários.
Em 2025, prepara o lançamento nos cinemas de seu segundo longa documentário, "Memórias de um Esclerosado” - que retrata a vida do cartunista brasileiro Rafael Corrêa. O filme foi o grande vencedor do 26º CINEPE
Theatre director. Since 2009, she has been developing her path as an artistic director of performative projects in the field of theater, in collaboration with multidisciplinary artists, deepening her engagement with hybrid formats.
Between 2015 and 2018, she also worked as an executive producer for projects in the fields of visual arts, music, and cross-disciplinary practices.
In parallel to her artistic work, she is committed to educational initiatives in theater, facilitating formative actions for diverse audiences.
She lives and works between Brazil and Portugal. In Portugal, she collaborates with educational programs of art-social institutions and is a co-founder of Peixe Fora d'Água, an interdisciplinary collective dedicated to research and creation across artistic languages.
She is the winner of the Goethe-Institut Porto Alegre’s New Directors Award for her staging of Mr. Kolpert (2012); Best Direction in a Video Performance at the Congonhas National Theatre Festival (2021), and Best Direction of Adult Theatre at the 11th Olhares da Cena Awards (2022), both for Manual para Náufragos.
THAIS FERNANDES (1984) has a degree in journalism. Since 2007, she has worked as an editor/director of audiovisual projects for television and cinema. She also works in education as an instructor of free courses on film introduction and documentary projects. Focused on non-fiction narratives, she directed the short films "Love Contract" (41st Gramado Film Festival), "Navigators" (Curta Cinema 2015), and "A Female Body" (BFI 2018). She was responsible for the executive production, research, and video editing of the web documentary "The Invented Village" (60th DOKLEIPZIG).
In 2020, she launched "AFTER ALL, WHO IS GOD" (Prix Jeunesse International 2020), her first TV series, as well as her first feature film, "PORTUÑOL," which won the Best Feature Film Award at the 48th Gramado Film Festival. Since 2024, she has been an alumna of the 11th class of DOCNOMADS, an Erasmus Mundus master's program focused on documentary directing.
In 2025, she is preparing the theatrical release of her second feature, "MSD'UP - My Life with Multiple Sclerosis," a documentary about the life of Brazilian cartoonist Rafael Corrêa.
